How Do I Deal With Patients Who Won't Pay Co-Pays?

If people are unwilling to pay their co-pays, then it’s likely you need to do more to help them appreciate the value of the care you give them.

In essence, the patient who won't pay co-pays believes "All dentists are the same, so I will simply go to the least expensive.

To counteract this, you need to develop a strong brand & positioning for your practice that communicates the unique value of your care and your practice. This way, patients will value the care you provide more highly – and they’ll see the worth of the price of the co-pay.
