The One-Minute Message
What’s the least costly and second-most-potent (after asking for referrals) promotional effort in your arsenal? It’s the one-minute message to your existing patients. Here’s the wording to use:
“Something happened the other day that I wanted to share with you. A patient of five years came in and finally told me she had migraine headaches for all that time. She’d gone to three doctors without results and had become convinced she was incurable. Well, I told her one of my fortes was curing migraines and, in fact, within about three weeks had cured hers. So I want to tell all my patients that if they know someone who suffers from headaches, tell them they don’t have to because there is a cure. Headaches are terrible things and these people can be helped. Would you do that?”
Write a script for the service(s) you’d like to promote, practice it and use it. You’ll reap the benefits in increased new patients and extra revenue.
