Implement an Online Suggestion Box — and Get Ready to Have Your Eyes Opened

Often, it's what your patients won't tell you that you most need to know. Not about their symptoms, health or well-being, but about how they liked the way you and your staff treated them.

Let's say one of your patients was rudely treated on the phone (or believed they were), had to sit for 2 hours in your waiting room before seeing you, or felt that you didn't listen to them attentively enough during the appointment.

Probably the patient said nothing; after all, no one likes confrontation. But you absolutely need to hear these kinds of complaints if you want to succeed. You cannot afford to remain in the dark while, unknown to you, bad word-of-mouth destroys your practice (which it can).

An easy solution: Implement an online "suggestion box."

Not only will this be an incomparable learning tool for you, you'll also enable patients to get a few things off their chests so they can continue enjoying visits to your practice, and your practice can continue thriving and growing.
